how many lbs should you lose per week?
I need to lose 60 lbs to have a healthy bmi. So I do need to lose a lot of weight and would love it all off and be nice and toned by the 4th of July when it starts getting real warm out so I can wear whatever I want;-) I know in the begining you can lose weight a little faster and then it levels off. So how much will I probably lose in the first two months with a real good balanced diet and consistent exercise? and then how much per week will I lose once it starts to level off? Is it healthy to lose 60-65 lbs from now till the 4th of July? I’d also make sure I’d get some strength training in there too. Any other tips be free to tell me.

I’m 55 kilograms. I eat LOADS i have a very fast metabolism. I would like to lose 3 kilos that i have never been able to get rid of, apart from that I am very slim.
So I started going to the gym -half hour weights, 90 sits ups, 30 pushups, half hour cardio on the cross trainer and just added half hour of power walking.
I go 3-4 times a week for the last 3 weeks.
I haven’t lost ANY weight at all!! So frustrated…
How much should I be losing?
Do i need to work out more or just eat a whole lot less and go on a weight loss diet too? I eat pretty healthy but I had scrambled eggs for breakfast on whole grain pita bread -should i change it to fruit salad or something?

something along those lines. i’m trying to cut down on carbs, and since i’m a vegan i’m trying to eat like a ton of fruits and veggies.

How many hours should I exercise per week to lose weight?
I am 5”6 and weigh around 145 pounds. I am wantng to lose about 2-3 pounds a week and eventually get down to 125 pounds. i am thinking of doing 2 hours a day for 4-5 days a week, do you think that will be sufficient. i will be eating around 1000-1200 calories a day also
How much weight should i lose per week if….?
I walk/fast walk 6.40 miles a day. I do one hour in the morning and one hour at night, so 3.20 miles each hour. I also do 500 crunches after each time i do the treadmill. So 1000 crunches a day also. And i watch what i eat. I don’t necessarily eat really healthy, but im careful with how much i eat. How much do you guys think i should lose a week? I’d really like to lose at least 20-25 pounds by late December. Do you think its possible? If not, please let me know what other exercises i could do. Thank you ![]()
I actually have no athletic background haha and i don’t come from an athletic family at all. I honestly don’t think im one of those “naturally big boned” people. I was skinny until maybe i was 12 years old (im 16 now) Im 5’1” or 5’2” and easily over 150-155 pounds. I don’t like to weigh myself so i don’t know for sure. All i think about is my weight, every second of every day. I’ve been homeschooled for a year now, i rarely leave the house because im not comfortable with myself. It’s not healthy at all. I really want to go back to school in late January, but i’d like to be…not fat.
I don’t think that the workout im doing is that “rigorous”, it’s not too hard for me at all. It’s just the motivation that keeps me from sticking to it. :/

I do 45 minutes of aerobics at about 75% capacity 6 days a week.
